Radhini Sivadharan, daughter of “Kalabhooshanam” Shrimathy Thiripurasundari Yoganantham, learnt Bharathanatyam under her mother at Kalaimanram. After finishing her diploma at Kalaimanram, she had her Arangetram on 3rd July 1999 at Ramakrishna Hall in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

She showed keen interest in Bharathanatyam, and she was able to perform a solo dance at the age of four, which brought out her natural talent.

She has taken part in all annual programmes and dance dramas produced by Kalaimanram in Sri Lanka, and since her Arangetram, she has been teaching at Kalaimanram. While at school, she trained students for special programmes and competitions, where she received recognition with many prizes and applause.

She had the privilege of performing for the Archbishop of Canterbury on his visit to Sri Lanka and the 4th World Hindu conference in 1995, which was held in Sri Lanka when Kalaimanram presented the “Dheivathai” dance drama at Ramakrishna hall, Sri Lanka. She also took part in many TV Shows in Sri Lanka. “Sangamam” was an evening of Bharathanatyam performed by Radhini to mark the Black History Month held in 2002 in the UK. She also performed in 2003 to mark the May Day celebrations at the heritage museum, Harrow. Thirukoneshwaram was choreographed by the internationally renowned choreographer M. V. Narasimhachari, and Radhini was selected to dance the lead male part as Ravanan at the Royal Festival Hall London.

Radhini has presented students for the STN dance festival 2009 held in Aylesbury, under One Sky 2009 at the Zoom leisure, and also the Milton Keynes Tamil Forum 2010. In January 2011, the Thaipongal was celebrated for the first time at the Harrow Chamber, and her students were invited to present traditional Bharathanatyam and later applauded for the same. She also participated in the Malaysian Independence day celebrations by performing Bharathanatyam held on the 10th September 2011 at Brickendonbury, U.K.

She has accompanied her mother in Nattuvangam for many Arangetrams presented by Kalaimanram and has trained students for exams held by the N.C.O.M.S, Sri Lanka and OEBL, the UK, up to the teachers’ grade examinations which is the diploma in Bharathanatyam. Radhini is a performing artist, choreographer and teacher at Kalaimanram U.K.
